West Shores High School

Elective Wheel (2013-2014)

West Shores High School’s STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music and Math) program helps middle school students explore new interests and potential career paths. Since West Shores is a relatively small school, this program is essential for helping students participate in electives at a rate equal to that in larger high schools. Each student moves through an elective wheel, allowing them to take classes in each of these areas. Many classes, including Robotics, Science, and Art, take talented students on special field trips where they can showcase their work. Many students involved in the STEAMM program continue with their activities through high school and beyond, continuing to grow and delight in their passions.
