Community Religious School Intensify Focus on the Students (2026-2027)
The Anderson Children’s Foundation is supporting the Rabbi Avi Levine Community School at Temple Sinai in its pursuit of educating Jewish-identified children from the Coachella Valley in the religion, customs, heritage, history, and culture of Judaism. The school is the only school affiliated with a Reform movement congregation and reflects the values of patrilineal descent (either parent may be Jewish), gender equality, and giving the students the opportunity to bound with other Jewish children. The ACF grant is allowing the expansion of the school from 24 sessions to 30 sessions during the academic year. More information is available at templesinaipd.org.
