Bringing the Farm to the Schools (2026-2027)
The Tadros Cultivation Society educates students about our food system by focusing on sustainable and regenerative farming and the positive health and community impact of sourcing and eating fresh, local produce. We partner with schools to present on-campus farmers market experiences that excite students about eating responsibly grown, fresh, local produce and empower them to seek and choose local products as current and future consumers. Through the generous gift of The Anderson Children’s Foundation, The Tadros Cultivation Society will eliminate any logistical burden placed on a school site to operate the farmers market experience by purchasing portable audio-visual equipment, tents, and a seating surface for students, which will create an outdoor classroom for the farmers market experience.
