Rocket Rules- Sense of Safety & Beyond (2025-2026)
The Rocket Rules (The Hero In You Foundation) “Sense of Safety & Beyond” program teaches essential everyday safety subjects to keep kids safe every day to and from school, at home and in the community. Activating their six senses, enables quick smart decisions that can make the difference in avoiding serious injuries. The program will reach 6,000 1st grade elementary school students. (This is 100% of all first graders) in the three Coachella Valley School Districts: Coachella Valley School District, Palm Springs USD, Desert Sands USD, local youth organizations and private schools. Subjects include “Crossing the Street Safely, No Bullying/Were You Kind Today, Safe Place/Safe People, Calling 9-1-1, and ten other modules. Each first-grade student receives a Rocket 24 page “Sense of Safety & Beyond!” Activity Book, plus use of lesson plans, worksheets, Rocket video library, and student certificates.
