Show & Scene Shop Internship (2025-2026)
The Show and Scene Shop Internship provides high school students from Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Cathedral City High Schools—primarily Hispanic and female—with hands-on training in scenic design, construction, and backstage production. Grant funds will be used to purchase set materials, cover scene shop expenses, and much needed dimmer pack replacements. By offering real-world, skill-based instruction in a safe and supportive environment, the program creates pathways into careers in theatre, film, design, and construction for students historically underrepresented in technical arts fields, expanding access and opportunity while enriching the cultural fabric of our community.
