Occupational Therapy for Kids- Financial Assistance Program (2026-2027)
The mission of the Desert Autism Foundation is to enhance the lives of those on the autism spectrum, as well as to support and assist families as they care for individuals with autism. A large part of that mission is using funds raised to help cover the cost of occupational therapy provided by Desert OT for Kids. As parents to individuals on the autism spectrum, we have seen how vital occupational therapy can be for the development of our children. In our partnership with Desert OT, we offer financial assistance to families in need. Instead of having to pay full hourly rates, our foundation covers the majority of the cost, so the family only has a small copay. This makes therapy more affordable and allows the child to receive it on a more consistent basis. This truly makes a positive impact on their lives.
