Mitigating Impacts of COVID through Angel View Children's Outreach (2021-2022)

Angel View Children’s Outreach is the voice of local children with disabilities. The program offers a variety of free services and support to help families through difficult circumstances. Each year, our bilingual case managers meet with hundreds of families throughout the valley to assess their children’s needs. Then we offer individualized services, at no cost. We provide resources and referrals -- including assistance filling out forms and accessing services; mileage reimbursement for travel to appointments with out-of-the-area pediatric specialists; case management services; mini-grants for medical equipment, supplies and services not covered by insurance; advocacy for children’s IEP’s; activity sponsorships and more. In this way, we help children with disabilities reach their maximum potential.

Angel View Outreach is funded entirely through philanthropy. Grants from organizations like Anderson Children’s Foundation make it possible.

Since 1954, Angel View has provided services to children and adults with disabilities. In addition to our Children’s Outreach Program, Angel View operates 19 group homes that provide 24-hour residential care and a therapeutic Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities. Children's Outreach (2020-2021, 2019-2020, 2018-2019, 2017-2018, 2016-2017)

Now celebrating 65 years of continuous service to the community, Angel View has provided much needed 24-hour residential care to children and adults with disabilities for decades. In 2012, to better assist local families who are struggling to raise children with disabilities, we launched our newest program -- Angel View’s Children’s Outreach. The program offers a variety of free services and support to help families through difficult circumstances.

Our bilingual case managers meet with families throughout the valley to assess their children’s needs. Then we offer individualized services, all at no cost. We provide resources and referrals, including help filling out forms and accessing services; mileage reimbursement for travel to appointments with out-of-the-area pediatric specialists; case management services; mini-grants for medical equipment, supplies and services not covered by insurance; help with children’s IEP’s; and activity sponsorships.
