AYSO Region 588

Desert Hot Springs Youth Soccer (2026-2027)

AYSO Region 588 has proudly served Desert Hot Springs since 1987, providing soccer programs that give every player a fun, inclusive, and positive experience while helping children develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game. Our programs are designed to meet players where they are and create meaningful opportunities for growth. The AYSO Core Program develops players through balanced teams, volunteer coaching, good sportsmanship, and age-appropriate training. The AYSO EPIC Program, “Everyone Plays in Our Community,” provides a supportive soccer environment for players with disabilities, emphasizing inclusion, friendship, personal growth, and the opportunity to participate at each player’s own pace. Our Playground and Schoolyard Programs, which are transitioning to Kickstart, introduce younger players to soccer through fun, engaging activities that build fundamental skills, coordination, confidence, and excitement for the game in a safe and encouraging setting. Together, these programs reflect our commitment to developing players of all abilities and creating a welcoming community where everyone can play, grow, and enjoy the beautiful game of soccer. Each program is made possible by the dedication of our volunteer board members, coaches, referees, and parents. Our board members give their time and leadership to organize, manage, and grow the region while ensuring families have access to quality programs. Coaches inspire and mentor players on and off the field, referees teach respect, fairness, and the spirit of the game, and parents provide the encouragement and support that strengthen the AYSO Region 588 community. Together, our players, families, volunteers, and board members make up AYSO Region 588—a community where players grow up to become coaches and board members themselves, continuing the tradition of giving back and helping our region thrive.

Support from the Anderson Children’s Foundation will help keep our programs affordable and accessible for all families. This funding will provide scholarships for players in need, keep our EPIC program free for players with special needs, supply uniforms and soccer balls for players, equip coaches with essential training tools, provide special training clinics for players and coaches, replace damaged or stolen program equipment, and help cover operating costs needed to deliver a safe, inclusive, and successful season.
