Anderson Children's Foundation
Irene W. Anderson, who cared deeply for children yet had none of her own, established this foundation in 1970 in memory of her husband Guy L. Anderson. The purpose of the Anderson Children’s Foundation is to provide for unmet needs of children of every race, culture, and creed. Our goal is to nurture and inspire young people in areas including health, education, recreation, and the arts. We welcome your involvement in caring for children by applying for funding of worthy nonprofit programs.
American Association of University Women
Tech Trek is a week long academic residential summer camp for seventh grade girls featuring hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Instructors include credentialed middle and high school teachers and professional women in STEM related careers.
CHAMP Coops Hoops and Mentorship Program
CHAMP is dedicated to mentoring and developing local youth through a shared love of basketball. Our mission goes beyond enhancing basketball skills. We also aim to improve mental health and social competencies.
Coachella Valley Horse Rescue
Horsinalities Kids Camps teach youth horsemanship, how to read horse personalities, rising skills, how to care for horses, compassion for rescued animals and interpersonal skills. Developed at the Coachella Valley Horse Rescue, Horsinalities uses rescued horses to teach children about different horse personalities and promotes empowerment, leadership, and positive social skills.
Chabad of Rancho Mirage
We aim to encourage children and teens to be empowered to adopt leadership positions in their public schools and in their daily lives. There is a vital and immediate need to engage Jewish teens with transformative Jewish experiences that enable them to create a deep connection to and understanding of their rich heritage.
