Next Generation of Lifesavers (2022-2023)
American Heart Association and the Anderson Children’s Foundation is teaming up to implement the Coachella Valley, Next Generation of Lifesavers program that aims to increase recognition of signs & symptoms of cardiac arrest and stroke; increase use of 9-1-1; increase the number individuals trained in CPR and AED usage; and increase rates of CPR in an emergency. We know that people who have been trained to use CPR are more likely to react in an emergency and that ultimately, training our community of students will result in increased chances of survival for cardiac arrest victims in the future in the Coachella Valley or wherever our students reside in the future.
